Students need to successfully complete 60 credits to earn their associate degree. To graduate in 2 years, students need to earn 15 credits per semester or 30 credits over the course of each year.

1. Graduate on time
Completing 30 credits each year will keep students on track to graduate in 2 years.
2. Save Money
At CUNY, taking 15 credits per semester cost the same as taking 12 credits. Successfully completing 15 credits a semester, instead of 12, saves students a semester of tuition.
3. Excelsior Scholarship
The NYS Excelsior Scholarship covers full tuition but students must earn 30 credits each year to be eligible.
