Google Apprenticeships

We are excited to let you know that Google will have six apprenticeship positions in the United States this year! These roles will be located across our Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale offices.
The six work-and-study programs will range in duration from 12-20 months and comprise the following fields:
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Data Analytics
  • Digital Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Software Engineering
  • User Experience (UX)

The IT apprenticeship is currently accepting applications now through late April, and the other five apprenticeships will also begin accepting applications throughout the spring season — stay tuned to to learn when those will go live. We are also going to be hosting a live info session about our apprenticeships on Tuesday, April 7 at 3pm ET, so we encourage students to register for that event!
All apprentices will participate in on-the-job work experience and receive external skills training through a partner organization. Upon program completion, apprentices receive a nationally-recognized credential certified by the Department of Labor. Some of our tracks also include completing the corresponding Google Career Certificate.
In order to apply, candidates will need an updated resume and a cover letter explaining their interest in becoming an apprentice at Google. Our team will review applications on a rolling basis so we encourage interested candidates to apply early. Lastly: Google’s offices are currently closed due to COVID-19, so these apprenticeships will very likely be virtually hosted for their first few weeks/months. We will keep applicants posted about return-to-office developments.
