Young Men’s Initiative (YMI) IMPACT Peer Mentoring Project

The Young Men’s Initiative (YMI) IMPACT Peer Mentoring Project is structured to improve Test  Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC™) and High School Equivalency (HSE) pass rates, increase college enrollment and retention, and to provide peer mentoring and support for Black and Latino males and females from 18 to 25 years of age.  The HSE classes are FREE.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Males and Females between the ages of 18 and 25

  • Must achieve a reading and math level of 7.0 or higher on the placement exam;

  • Must maintain 80% attendance, attend scheduled tutoring sessions and other program activities
