Hostos ID Card (Caiman Card)

Hostos Community College has upgraded its ID card system, including turnstiles, classrooms, and office access points.

All students, faculty, and staff are required to carry a valid college ID card at all times while on campus.

For Faculty and Staff

With the new system, ID cards will automatically update when used at campus turnstiles. You no longer need to use an ID card updater device.

For New Students and Employees

New students and employees must visit the Campus ID Office, located in the B-500 Building, Room BC0-42A, to obtain their ID card.

After receiving your new ID card, please allow a few minutes for it to become fully active.

For ​Lost ID

If your ID card has been lost, please visit the Bursar’s Office to make the required payment. After completing your payment, bring your receipt to the Campus ID Office, where it will be retained for our records and a replacement ID card will be issued.

Once you receive your new ID card, please visit the IT Department to have it reactivated.
