Biography:  Prof. Linda Anderson earned her M.Phil. from Teachers College, Columbia University and her M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Columbia University. Prof. Anderson earned her B.A. from Boston University, School of Arts and Sciences with a double major in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature. She is a N.Y.S. licensed psychologist and has served as a staff psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Anderson has taught as a Visiting Adjunct Assistant Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University as well as a Visiting Professor and Counselor at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, the only residential college for younger scholars in Great Barrington, MA. She has appeared in numerous media outlets and writes about a diverse range of mental health topics that include intimate partner violence, work life balance among professional women as well as the psychology of African American  success. Dr. Anderson is co author of Silent Agreements:  How to free your relationships of unspoken expectations (2019, Rodale/ Harmony).
