Become a Jobs Council Student Ambassador

The New York Jobs CEO Council would like to invite CUNY undergraduate students who are committed to bringing more representation from NYC’s largest employers to CUNY campuses to become Jobs Council Student Ambassadors.   As a student ambassador, you will help to increase representation from CUNY students amongst their respective campus in our career readiness events.  This includes connecting the Jobs Council Student Engagement team to relevant clubs and organizations, presenting to student clubs about the Jobs Council’s events and programming, assisting the Student Engagement team to host on campus or virtual information sessions, and creating student-centered social media content. 

Eligibility: Current first year and second year students in 2-year CUNY Colleges

CUNY students serve as ambassadors to increase student participation among their campus to Jobs Council events and programming. Ambassadors receive up to a $500 stipend per semester upon completion of responsibilities.
Commitments:

• Attend 2+ in-person events, all virtual events, and monthly ambassador meetings.
• Host info sessions with clubs, connect leaders, and refer students to events.
• Use personal networks to share event info and create social media content
