What is the Next of Us Intern Opportunity Fund?: The intention of the Intern Opportunity Fund is to support college students with need-based stipends, as they pursue unpaid or underpaid internships. The stipends will cover living and educational expenses, and amounts can range from $150 to $1500, based on the applicants’ need.
Who is eligible to apply? Any person participating, or planning to participate, in a Summer 2022 internship, across any industry, regardless of race, identity, ability, or immigration status, is eligible to apply. Pay Our Interns will prioritize applicants who identify as first-generation college students, students of color, undocumented (or who have a family member that is undocumented), and/or are from a low-income background.
When can students apply? The application will be open through March 31, 2022 at 11:59 PM EST.
We will begin reviewing applications April 1, 2022 with the goal of disbursing funds to selected applicants in time for Summer 2022 internships.
