Hostos Community College, Career Services, Lisanette Rosario, and Professor Amy Ramson have established a partnership with the Office of the District Attorney, Bronx. This partnership will provide Hostos students with access to paid summer internship opportunties and pathways to employment upon graduation to the Community Assistant/Case Aide and Community Association/Trial Prepration Assistant positions.

Paid Summer Internship The Bronx District Attorney’s Office is seeking college students for its summer internship program. The eight-week program will begin in June and includes a compensation at the of $16 per hour ($560 per week). Interns work full time, Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Interns are assigned to a specific bureau within the Office and are directly supervised by an Assistant District Attorney or the Director of the Unit or Bureau. Application Link

Community Assistant/ Case Aide [ An Associate’s Degree preferred or a High School Diploma/ GED and a minimum of two (2) years working experience in a law firm, governmental, agency, civil or community organization]
 
Community Associate/ Trial Preparation Assistant[TPA] [ A Baccalaureate Degree preferred or a High School Diploma with four (4) years of work experience in a law for, governmental agency, civic or community organization. A Valid New York State Drivers license with a minimum of two  (2) years of driving experience is required]
