Fostering a love for reading.
The simple act of reading to a child, over time, can have a profound impact on the child’s future. The Childrens Center's Reading Corner provides an outlet for the child to imagine a world of possibilities and create stories of their own. The Reading Corner also offers the the staff a convenient, joyful, and meaningful way to give back.
We are honored to have our leadership volunteer their time to help children learn the joys of reading.
May 2024: On Thursday May 3rd, Dean Andrea Fabrizio visited the Children’s Center to read two of our favorite stories about a problematic pigeon; Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and The Pigeon Needs a Bath! By Mo Willems. The threes and fours, led my Ms. Sydney and Ms. Kassandra, had a wonderful time joining in. Thank you Dean Fabrizio!
