Now that you are enrolled for Fall 2022 classes, please take the following steps to stay on track with your educational journey!​
  1. Please review the Are you ready checklist and ensure you are prepared for your online courses.
  2. Sign in to Blackboard (remember the login is the same as your CUNY First account) and complete the Student Online Readiness Course. This self-paced online readiness course welcomes you to the basics of online learning at CUNY. To take the course, please click on the link above or look for "Hostos CC - Student Online Readiness Course - Are You Ready" on the right side of your Blackboard Home Page under "My Organizations."
  3. Sign in to CUNY First to review your enrolled courses, review your to-do list and tuition balance.
  4. In need of a loaner computer for the semester? Please log in with your Hostos webmail information click here.
  5. Make sure all your financial aid documents are completed. For information on how to contact please visit the Financial Aid Contact Us page.
  6. Paying out of pocket and are interested in a payment plan? You may inquire about it by reaching out to the Bursar’s Office. For information on how to contact please visit Bursar Contact Us page.
  7. If you have any questions/concerns regarding your classes, please log into Succeed@Hostos and make an appointment with your assigned Student Success Coach to talk about it. Check out this video on how to make an appointment with your Coach by clicking here. If you don’t see a Success Coach in your network in Succeed@Hostos, please contact the Student Success Coaching Unit by emailing us at to ask who your Coach is.
  8. Remember: Classes begin August 25th, 2022! – Any changes you make to your class schedule after August 24th, 2022 will have a fee associated with it. For more important dates, please review the Academic Calendar by clicking here.  Please remember, it is very important to attend to your classes from the first day to avoid a WN, WU and a possible financial liability.
  9. Check your Hostos email account on a daily basis! You can access your email account here. If you have any issues accessing your student email account, please contact the Student Help Desk by e-mail at
