Celebrate the iconic singer’s life and song with Hostos Center. The weekend includes concerts on November 12 and 13 with the Tito Rodríguez Orchestra under the direction of Tito Rodríguez, Jr. and featuring special guest artist Gilberto Santa Rosa – direct from Puerto Rico. Together they will perform the beloved singer’s legendary songbook - from his fast mambos and cha-cha-chas to his romantic boleros and smokey torch songs. The weekend also includes never-before-heard recording sessions, a panel discussion, film screenings and more! SAFETY CHECKLIST FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE:

  • All Adults:: Must show proof of vaccination OR proof of a negative PCR Test taken 7 days prior with a valid Photo ID.
  • Children 5 and Over: Must show proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR Test taken 7 days prior.
  • Masking: Masking inside the theater is required.
    • Vaccinated is defined as having received 2 doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. Only valid, physical CDC cards or the NYS Excelsior Pass are accepted.
