Seeking the 2025-26 NextGen Public Health Scholars!
Are you interested in pursuing a career in public health and epidemiology and receiving full scholarship support to attend Hostos Community College and Columbia University?
Seeking students:
- Enrolled in an associate degree program at Hostos
- All majors are welcome to apply
- On track to have 30-35 credits by the end of Spring 2025
- GPA of 3.2 or higher
- On track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2026
Hostos is inviting interested and eligible students on track to graduate Hostos with an associate degree in Spring/Summer 2026 to apply for the NextGen Public Health Scholars 2+2+2 Program. This program is a unique partnership between Hostos Community College and the Columbia University School of General Studies and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health that will prepare a cohort of Hostos students for leadership and frontline roles in local, state, and national health departments, medical systems, and community health programs.
Selected students receive full tuition coverage, monthly stipend, Metrocards, personal laptop, mentorship, access to internships and career development opportunities.
