Students will read poems by Lucille Clifton (1936-2010), whose work, informed by her Black identity, is known for celebrating women's connection with their bodies in all forms, offering deep-reaching affirmations and generous acceptance. An open discussion will follow that responds to the poetry and related stories. Moderated by Prof. Jerilyn Fisher.
