The rain clouds are finally parting, and it’s going to be a beautiful day for the Eugenio María De Hostos Community College Foundation’s 16th Annual Scholarship Fund Golf Outing Classic at the picturesque Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses in Pelham Bay Park. Prominent representatives of the Bronx’s robust business, hospitality, and nonprofit industries will be in attendance, enjoying friendly competition, networking, and, most importantly, supporting scholarships and programs that empower Hostos students.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a barbeque lunch and a shot-gun style start at 12:30 p.m. The tournament will be a scramble format; foursomes will compete for the lowest overall score. Winners will receive a trophy, and a complimentary foursome at the course. This is an all-inclusive event, so the registration fee for each individual golfer includes a cart rental, lunch, on-course refreshments, a cocktail reception, and dinner. The cocktail reception will begin around 5 p.m. followed by dinner. There will be a raffle and silent auction featuring fabulous prizes, including gift cards to excellent restaurants, local experiences, and two tickets to enjoy a playoff game in the Legends Suite at Yankee Stadium.

The Foundation would also like to express its profound gratitude to the sponsors of this year’s Golf Outing Classic: Title Sponsor, ABM and MADDD Equities; Classic Sponsors, Montefiore Einstein and Schindler, US; Lunch Sponsors, Ultimate Abstract of New York, BronxCare Health System, Newmark, Aetna, and the Oyate Group.
