The Hostos Café, on C-building’s third floor, will officially reopen on Thursday, January 26, at 8 a.m. After a thorough process to choose the best food caterer for students, faculty, and staff, the Office of Administration and Finance selected A La Carte Menu Services, Inc.

On Wednesday, January 25, the revitalized cafeteria space will host a soft opening from 12-3 p.m. There will be music, giveaways, and free food from A La Carte’s menu.

Some free items at the inauguration will include deli subs, wraps, garden and fruit salads, meat, turkey, and veggie burgers, pizzas, assorted chips, cupcakes, cookies, and beverages.

“We are happy for the opportunity to welcome our students and to be able to break bread with them,” expressed Hostos President Daisy Cocco De Filippis.

“We are glad to be able to open the cafeteria once again for our community to enjoy meals together on campus. The cafeteria hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, making it convenient for students, faculty, and staff to grab a bite,” added Senior Vice President of Administration and Finance Esther Rodríguez-Chardavoyne. “We can’t wait to have everyone join us and share their thoughts.”
