Two Hostos Student Leadership Academy students, Yunerys Liriano and Willy Baez Lara, along with Jason Libfeld, the College’s Student Leadership Coordinator, will travel to Colorado for the National Character and Leadership Symposium at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on February 25 and 26.

This event is one of the premier character and leadership building symposiums in the nation. It brings together distinguished scholars, military leaders, corporate presidents, world-class athletes, and others to learn about character-building and leadership at the Air Force Academy.

The two-day symposium, themed “Professionalism & The Profession of Arms,” offers the opportunity for all academy personnel, visiting university students and faculty, and community members to experience dynamic speakers and take part in group discussions.
