Words cannot express the level of gratitude we have for you, our donors. We were moved by your generosity and support of Hostos Community College on CUNY Tuesday, and thrilled to have exceeded our goal of $30,000!
Hostos Giving Tuesday began with a special message from President Gómez early in the morning, who was the first to give and inspire others to give to Hostos generously. Throughout the day, photos and videos were posted on social media.
Hostos students, faculty and staff, including President Gómez participated in writing responses on the
Why I Give board: “I support Hostos and the difference Hostos has made in my life and student’s lives.” “I give because Hostos students make a difference.” Students shared inspiring stories of gratitude for receiving scholarships and the impact those funds have had on their lives. Even the Caiman made an exclusive appearance on the Bridge!
The Hostos Community College Foundation thanks you for giving and inspiring others to give generously towards the academic success of our students. Exceeding our goal will allow more students to complete their degrees and graduate.
