A BRONX FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

The Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) presents Radical Elegance, an online exhibition curated by Yelaine Rodriguez. Radical Elegance features Bronx-affiliated photographers who are subverting and actively challenging fashion photography as a genre, taking charge of their narratives, documenting their communities, and shedding light on BIPOC cultures (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color). This online exhibition is part of the 2021 Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos’ season focused on The Bronx: Then and Now, exploring how the Bronx art and style have changed and evolved over the years.
