Three exciting new ensembles put together specifically for BomPlenazo 2016 -- Fundamento Cultural, led by the drummer /dancer wunderkind Nelson Matthew González; La Union Balancé, led by the acclaimed vocalist Alex LaSalle; and Boricua Soy featuring rising star Leró Martinez Roldán -- showcase the energy of the younger generation of Bomba and Plena practitioners featuring artists from New York, Puerto Rico, Chicago, and California.
