BronxNet presents Bronx Live: Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble. The esteemed choir celebrated its 41st anniversary with “Songs of the Spirit,” spiritual and gospel works from the African-American religious experience. The evening also honored the legacies of composer-conductor Roland M. Carter and Ebony Ecumenical Founder, Bettye F. Forbes, and featured world-renowned jazz pianist, Cyrus Chestnut. (2020) An encore presentation has been scheduled for June 19 to commemorate Juneteenth.
