Latin Grammy-winner, pianist / singer /songwriter Lena Burke, performed originals as well as selections of La Lupe. Making a special guest appearance was her mother, the legendary Malena Burke, famed daughter of the revered Bolero singer Elena Burke. Opening the show is Xiomara Laugart, acclaimed for her starring role in Celia: The Life and Music of Celia Cruz, who sang a variety of traditional and contemporary Cuban favorites. (2018)
