ELIGIBILITY: You must:

1. be an undergraduate woman student in good standing at any unit of CUNY;

2. have completed 36 credits (community college) or 60 credits (senior college).

3. have a GPA of at least 3.3;

4. demonstrate financial need;

5. continue your studies as an undergraduate of CUNY

TO APPLY: You must submit the following:

1. two copies of the application form;

2. one official copy of your college transcript;

3. letters of recommendation from three faculty members;

4. a one-page budget summarizing anticipated income and anticipated expenses for 2006-07 (12-month budget); include tuition, books, housing, clothing, food, and transportation.

AWARD AMOUNTS:

Scholarship awards of up to $1,000 shall be paid twice a year: half the first semester, the remainder the second semester, after the student submits proof of registration for the spring semester. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to determine the number and amount of scholarships to be awarded each year. Finalists will be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
