Campus Planning & Development


The Office of Campus Planning & Development is responsible for the development and implementation of the Hostos Community College campus master plan; for requesting City and State funds for capital projects; and for overseeing the planning, design and construction of capital projects on the Hostos campus. The office manages and maintains the college’s space inventory and is responsible for space utilization.

Capital Projects

The Office of Campus Planning & Development is responsible for developing and submitting Hostos’s annual request for capital funding from New York City and New York State officials.  The request is developed in consultation with the President, the Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration and the Provost.  Implementation and management of funded projects is done in conjunction with CUNY’s Office of Facilities Planning Construction and Management (FPCM) and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY).
