Ability to Benefit (ATB)

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Admissions and Recruitment Website. The Hostos experience is a unique one amongst other CUNY colleges. We are a small college that is dedicated to creating an educationally rich, friendly and warm environment. Our faculty and staff will provide you with one-on-one academic support that will help you develop the skills and confidence to achieve your personal and professional goals.

Commitment Form

For students who have applied already
  and have been accepted
ONLY.

We offer a variety of educational, athletic, fine arts, co-curricular and student support services to help make your experience a positive one. While at Hostos, you can attend career workshops on resume writing and sharpen your interviewing skills, swim in our Olympic-size swimming pool, exercise in our state-of-the-art weight and aerobic centers, and see a cultural show at one of our theaters. You can also learn another language and be able to speak it with your fellow students. We also have scholarships and extra services for students with special needs.

We offer new students the opportunity to attend workshops and an orientation on financial aid and college life. We could arrange for a tour of the college facility. We are here to help make your college experience a positive one. So come and be part of the Hostos experience and let us help you achieve your educational goals.

The college reserves the right to deny admission to any student if in its judgment, the presence of that student on campus poses an undue risk to the safety or security of the college or the college community. That judgment will be based on an individualized determination taking into account any information the college has about a student's criminal record and the particular circumstances of the college, including the presence of a child care center, a public school or public school students on the campus.
