Maximum Student Course Load
The maximum course load for a student is
not to exceed 18 academic units or a combination of 18
academic and billable equivalent credits. Science laboratories,
clinical, and physical education courses will be counted as
units. However, the student is still liable for the tuition.
The Dean of
Academic Affairs
must approve exceptions to this 18-unit-maximum policy.
Students requesting exceptions must present their latest
transcript. There are two possible reasons for making
exceptions:
-
The student completed all 18 academic
units or 18 billable equivalent credits attempted in the
previous semester;
-
A student who is not on probation needs
additional units in order to complete graduation requirements.
