The Dental Hygiene Patient Care Facility at Hostos Community College is a teaching unit that provides comprehensive dental care to the community while adhering to the most current sterilization techniques.

Patients in need of further evaluation, diagnosis and treatment will be referred to their own dentist or neighboring dental clinics.
Appointments are normally two hours long, and services require more than one visit in order to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care. The first visit consists of a medical and dental history assessment and evaluations necessary to provide the appropriate treatment. Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
During the fall semester, student hygienists see patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. During the spring semester, they see patients Monday through Friday. The clinic is not open during the summer session.
