The Hostos HOPE Program is a Two-Generation (Two-Gen) summer program for up to 22 student parents* and their children (pre-K through 8th grade). Program activities will take place on campus during the 7-week Extended Summer Session (June-July). What does HOPE offer? a full on-campus college experience for student parents and their children 3D Model Holistic Programming: academic, family, professional healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks for all participants tuition-gap assistance for summer courses (6-9 credits) books MetroCards high quality summer programming in STEM K-8 will begin after DOE classes end Pre-K can begin at the start of the 7-week summer session Experiential Learning Opportunities (ELOs) for all HOPE participants What are the requirements? min. of 12 college credits student parent* MUST be able to attend the full 7-week summer session 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday all campus requirements extend to the HOPE Program, including vaccinations and boosters for student parents * Student parents, primary caregivers, grandparents, and other types of arrangements are given full consideration.
