Service@Hostos is our new campus-wide service management portal and platform. It has a modern and intuitive user interface that is also mobile friendly. It allows you to request services from key service groups across campus in a single environment. This service portal give our students, faculty and staff access to well-defined services and processes and allow us to improve our customer service.

Benefits to Students

  • Open and track service tickets to request assistance, information, various accounts and email issues.
  • Open and track requests related to classroom technology, printing and general lab equipment issues.
  • Find FAQs and knowledge base documents on student information systems, policies and procedures.

Benefits to Faculty/Staff

  • Open and track requests for on and off campus issues, initially for Information Technology and Educational Technology and subsequently for other service departments.
  • Get quotes for and request computing equipment.
  • Use the portal to manage tasks and services between multiple departments.
  • Get timely reports on services tickets.
  • Use the knowledge base and self-service articles and tools to resolve issues.
  • Provide feedback on your experience so that the service group and continuously improve.

How to Access the new Service@Hostos Portal

To create and manage requests and find information on available services in the Service@Hostos portal, click here or on the banner image at the top of the page.

Your login will be your full Hostos email address (ie. flastname@hostos.cuny.edu if you are faculty or staff member or flastxxxx@hostos.cuny.edu if you are a student; xxxx = the last four digits of your EMPLID. In all cases the password is your Hostos email password.

If you want to create a technology request in Service@Hostos via email, you can still use the email address: itjobrequest@hostos.cuny.edu.
