Spring 2020 Commencement Ceremony

Spring 2020 Commencement Ceremony

Hostos Community College holds its first-ever digital commencement ceremony on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 10am to honor its graduating class. Due to the social distancing guidelines during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, the college decided to honor the graduates digitally while an in-person ceremony was postponed.

The digital event consists of a ceremony made available online for graduates, family and friends to help mark the occasion. The President, David Gómez, is joined by messages from the divisional vice presidents and elected officials, as well as a few honored guests. The ceremony includes a speech from the Valedictorian, Ms. Blasina Tavarez and, of course, the conferring of degrees. Please join Mistress of Ceremonies, Professor Emerita Diana Diaz and Grand Marshal Professor Koffi in celebrating the graduating class.
