Ordering Caps and Gowns


How do I order my cap and gown set?


There are a few steps to follow:
  1. Go to the website https://collegegrad.herffjones.com/
  2. On the box that says [Search your school] type Hostos Community College and press [Enter]
  3. On the next screen, click [SHOP]
  4. Look for the banner that says CONGRATS, GRADS!
  5. On top of the banner, you will see 5 tabs (Home, Graduation Packages, Announcements, Cap & Gown and Class Ring)
  6. If you want to order the basic cap and gown set (cap, gown, tassel and hood), click the [Cap & Gown] tab
  7. If you want to order a graduation package (which includes things like the cap and gown set, announcements, thank you notes and other items), click the [Graduation Packages] tab.  The graduation packages are more expensive than the basic cap and gown set.  To participate in the ceremony, all you need is the basic cap and gown set.
  8. The basic cap and gown set costs $49.00 plus $13.95 for shipping and handling.
  9. Follow the steps to order your package.
  10. The last day to order your Cap and Gown online is Monday, May 1, 2023. Orders placed after this date may incur additional fees.
