Dr. Carol Quirke, Professor in the American Studies Department at SUNY Old Westbury, will present material from her new book: "Dorothea Lange, Documentary Photography, and Twentieth-Century America: Reinventing Self and Nation." Dorothea Lange is one of the most recognized documentary photographers of the twentieth century, and Dr. Quirke’s research shows how Lange’s photographs helped transform the nation.
