PLO 1 Students will define, list and name key terms, challenges and intervention related to the care of the elderly population. In addition, the student will identify local, state and national resources available to meet the needs of the elderly. PLO 2 Students will assess, plan, implement and evaluation programs. They will complete initial assessments and progress notes through documentation. PLO 3 Students will develop a professional portfolio and use discussed options for their career choices. PLO 4 Students will work effectively under supervision and in organizations to achieve personal and professional learning outcomes. PLO 5 Students will engage in an opportunity to develop cultural awareness and competency in direct services.
