• In one semester, JumpStart students can earn college credits, strengthen their skills in Math, and stay on pace to complete their associate degree efficiently.
• All students participate in a weekly College Readiness Seminar that helps them explore their academic identity, connect career goals with educational pathways at Hostos, and prepare for academic success.
• Advisors provide guidance in time management, campus navigation, communication, self-advocacy, and academic planning to support students’ progress toward graduation.
• JumpStart students must apply for Financial Aid to cover their tuition fee for their 3-credit course.
