Amina H. Tajbhai is a Lecturer of English at Hostos Community College, CUNY. She earned a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Biology from Brooklyn College / Macaulay Honors College. After completing her M.A. in English at Brooklyn College, she obtained her Ph.D. in English literature in 2019 from Fordham University. Her research considers the intersection between early modern literature and memory studies, gestures of violence on stage, and transgressive women.
