Articulation Agreements

An articulation agreement is an agreement between two schools that allows course credit at one school to be accepted and applied toward a degree at another school.

The Hostos Office of Transfer Services (OTS) assists students with transferring from Hostos to four-year institutions. OTS staff are available to meet with students, as early as their first semester, to understand their transfer options. Click here for more information on the Office of Transfer Services.

Hostos Community College and Lehman College are active participants in the Bronx Transfer Affinity Group (BTAG). Through the work of BTAG, several documents have been created to support the successful transfer of Hostos students to Lehman upon the completion of their A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degrees at Hostos.

  • The Guaranteed Admission Agreement (GAA) is a document that provides a clear transfer pathway for students earning degrees at Hostos who plan to transfer to Lehman. Students who meet all terms of the agreement are assured transfer admission to Lehman as described in the agreement. Click here to access the GAA.

  • The Program Alignment Table identifies academic programs at Hostos and Lehman that are aligned in subject matter and where that bachelor's degree can be completed within the 120 minimum total credits required for a bachelor's degree. Click here to access the Program Alignment Table.
