FAQ – Is Hostos Online Right for Me?

Here are answers to some common questions about getting started with Hostos Online. 

How do I know if online learning is right for me? 
Online learning offers flexibility, but it also requires time management and regular participation. We recommend taking our readiness check to help you decide if it’s the right fit. 

Do online students receive the same support as on-campus students? 
Yes. Online students have access to advising, tutoring, financial aid, and other services designed to support their success. 

What kind of technology do I need?

Can I work while taking online classes?
